Big Changes For My Little Business!

I have been holding this information in for almost a month but I can finally share! My little upholstery & design business is opening a 2nd location! Woot! The first part of this change is all about my hours. I don’t want to miss any communication with my people (you guys!) so that meant a shift in when I am available, when the shop is open, and who will be joining my team to fill in when I can’t. So much to do!

Monday – Wednesday I will be at the shop during regular hours. If you’re wanting to drop in, get a quote, or just want to say hi then these days are for you!

Thursday – Saturday The shop will be covered by someone NOT me. You can still drop in to get a quote, ask some questions and to definitely do some shopping, I just won’t be the one you’re chatting with. If you’re an early bird you might catch me at my Weiser location between 9am – 10am on these days. You can always come visit me at the new location but that is a story for another time…

I will make sure the folks covering the shop will have some handy-dandy questionairres for any upholstery needs coming through the shop. I’ll collect them every Saturday evening and respond by the following Monday. (I am telling you this as a sort of accountability thing, btw.)

The shop is beginning to fill with vendors. After some polling, I have decided to reduce the size of the booths to only 6’x6′ and 5’x5′, with the exception of one 10’x10′ that is already taken. It was brought to my attention that having a larger booth requires more work in and out of the shop, more travel, and more overall stress. I do not want to ever add stress so smaller we go. I am also doing this to accomodate some of the misplaced vendors from the House That Art Built, that will be closing soon.

There will be wall space and tables for rent in both the front and the back of the shop for those that have paintings/wall art, and/or small items for sale such as jewelry. These spots will be subject to “open staging”, allowing the vendor and myself to rearrange as we see fit.

As always, there is only ever a booth fee. My goal is to be an advocate, a supporter, a cheerleader for all of my fellow makers and artists. All the information you need is in the link below. If you have questions you can either leave a comment or respond to this email and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

That’s it for now. Keep an eye on your inbox for more information on the changes coming up, the new address, and the Grand Opening of CaseyGirl Designs Part 2! See ya soon!
